EMS at Cootes

Dear families,   

 There was a medical emergency involving a staff member today at our school. We are sharing this information as many students witnessed the situation. 

Staff called 911 and first responders arrived at the school. An ambulance took the staff member to the hospital. 

Your child may have witnessed this emergency. We want to make you aware of this incident in case your child mentions it to you, or if you wish to have a family conversation about it. 

We want you to know that the health and safety of our students and staff are of the utmost importance at our school. We thank Hamilton Paramedic Services for their efforts. We also thank the staff for their leadership and students for their cooperation.
