Grade 5 Farewell Celebration – For families of Grade 5 students
Dear Grade 5 families,
I hope you and your family are all staying safe as we begin to enjoy the warmer weather!
As part of our recognition of our grade 5 students moving on to Dalewood, the school will be creating and sharing a commemorative video/presentation. Names of students as well as their picture and a favourite memory of Cootes, will be posted in the video. The video will be shared on The HUB and HWDSB credentials are required to access it.
Recipients will be discouraged from sharing the video with people who would not normally attend the farewell ceremony. Posting publicly, including social media, is prohibited although it is important to know that HWDSB cannot guarantee that recipients will respect this requirement.
To be part of the video, we ask that you please complete the form included in this email by June 11. To use this form, you MUST log on using your child’s HWDSB login information.
The form will ask you to upload a picture of your grade 5 child as well as their favourite memory of Cootes Paradise. The form will also ask you for your consent to post your child’s name, picture, and favourite memory.
Parents/guardians who do not want their child recognized as part of the commemorative video should include this on the MS form in the appropriate checkbox.
