2024 Year End Greetings

Hello Billy Green Families

And here we are – We have reached the final days of December and the end of 2024.  2025 is not far at all.

As I reflect on this past year and my recent time as Principal of Billy Green, I cannot help but think fondly about the growth of our students and the caring adults who continue to support them.  We have an outstanding staff along with a devoted family community and students who are eager to laugh, share and learn.  We are so fortunate for the community we are a part of.

This week we continue to count our final days until break with the following important dates:

Winter Concert: December 18^th

• We thank all of our families who came to support our students at our winter concert today.

Winterfest Dance and Game Day: December 19th

• Tomorrow will be our Winterfest dance and game day.  We will continue to be collecting canned goods until the end of the day tomorrow in order to support FoodShare Hamilton.

Comfy Cozy Day & Last Day of School: December 20^th

• Friday will be our Comfy Cozy Day spirit day.  Students are invited to dress in whatever makes them feel comfy and cozy, as we make our way to the beginning of our winter break.

Important January 2025 Dates:

• Monday January 6^th – First day back after winter break
• Tuesday January 7^th – Christmas/Feast of the Nativity
• Monday January 13^th – Maghi
• Friday January 24^th – PA Day

I extend to all of you, my very best wishes for a calm and peaceful break. Whether your break is marked by the celebrations of Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanza or whether it is marked by a celebration of time (and lunch making free days), I wish you all laughter, health and quality time. I look forward to hearing all about our student’s holiday break in 2025.
