December Update

Dear BG Families,

It is hard to believe that December is already underway and 2022 has almost come to a close. We look back and reflect on the months that have passed. 2022 has been another unique year where we have seen and appreciated the resiliency, growth, and kindness of our staff, students and families.

We very thankful to our teachers, DECEs, educational assistants, CYCP, office staff, custodians and family community for their ongoing commitment and for working hard every day to support our students and each other.

Our Winter Showcase is coming up on December 22 (9:20am Kindergartens, 11:30am Grades 1-3, 1:50pm Grades 4-8). To respect the safety and confidentially of all of our students, we ask that parents/guardians/caregivers do not take pictures of their student while other students are in the vicinity. We have many students who do not have consent to have their picture taken.

A reminder that schools will be closed from December 24^th until January 8^th for Winter Break. We hope you’re able to enjoy some of your favourite family activities during this break.

When we return in 2023, we will be celebrating Joyful January from January 9^th to 13^th. Please stay tuned for more details.
