Secure Schools Drills – Lockdown

Monday, June 20 at 9:30am we will be practising a Lockdown drill.

Lockdown is used when there is a violent incident or threat of serious violence within the school, or in relation to the school which poses an immediate threat to the students and staff. In the case of a lockdown, all movement in and out of the school and within the school is restricted.

During Lockdown the doors and windows to the outside would be locked and blinds or drapes on all windows would be closed.  Students and staff sit quietly away from doors and windows.

Students and staff will be reminded about the lockdown Monday morning before it happens.
