Gr6-8 Students Going Out for Lunch

BG Families,

Students in grade 6-8 may go out or home for lunch, with parent/guardian permission.  The form for permission has been sent home with interested grade 6-8 students.

Unfortunately we have heard feedback from some of the local stores about some of our students causing disruptions in the store.  We have been reminding students the importance of conducting themselves appropriately in the community and will continue to do so.

If your child has returned their form and will be leaving property for lunch, please also remind them of the expectations around this privilege.

– Students sign-out at the office on their way out of the school and exit through the main doors

– Students follow the HWDSB Code of Conduct and behave accordingly when out in our school community. Students are not to be at the attached park/play equipment during breaks.

– Students are to return to school property by 1:40 pm, so they can be ready for Period 7. Students enter through the main doors and sign-in at the office on their way back into the school.

– Students are to finish all food and drink before entering the school, if returning at 1:40 pm and respectfully join their class, when they return.
