We were excited when restrictions began to lift in the province in March and we were able to begin planning for a camp trip for our gr6-8 students. We know many of our students and families were also excited about this opportunity.

At this point, the board continues to review the processes and expectations for trips like camp to continue to happen at all schools. As this has not yet been finalized at the system level there is currently a pause on trips like camps.  Due to this pause, we will not be able to meet our other related timelines so we need to let you know that we aren’t able to go ahead with Camp Wahanowin for 2022.

We are hopeful that the updated processes and expectations will allow for us to plan for camp trips in future years and we look forward to other memorable in-school opportunities for our students this spring.
