End of Year Message to Families

BG Families,

This is the time of year when we look back on the school year and it certainly has been a unique spring and end of the school year! We appreciate the flexibility of the BG community as we moved forward with distance learning this spring.  Mrs. Tovey and I both enjoyed being able to see the learning on classroom blogs and The Hub (Brightspace) and join different classes for lessons on MS Teams.

We wish our graduating class all the best next year as they move on to secondary school.  We are certain that your time at Billy Green has prepared you for the challenges ahead.

This is also a time to say good-bye to our departing staff.

Mrs. Abu-Shaera, Mr. Benedetti, Ms. Lord, Ms. Mullin, Mrs. O’Sullivan, were with us this year on a long-term basis and will be moving on to new assignments for the fall.

Mrs. Chiasson, Ms. Dokis, Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs. Tylee, and Mrs. Wunsche will also be starting at new schools in September.

We wish all our departing staff well in their new positions and thank them for their dedication to the Billy Green school community.

A special good-bye to Mrs. Krouse-Cutler and Mrs. Alexander as they both retire from HWDSB after great teaching careers!  We wish them both well as they enjoy their retirements.  Congratulations, Mrs. Krouse-Cutler!  Congratulations, Mrs. Alexander!
