Welcome to 2019/20 at Billy Green!

Billy Green Families,

On behalf of the Billy Green staff, we’d like to welcome all students and their families to a great year at Billy Green School! We hope that everyone has had safe and enjoyable summer holiday.

The first day of school for Grade 1-8 students is Tuesday, September 3.

First Day of School

All gr1-8 students will meet on the front playground before school (supervision begins at 8:25).  Staff will be outside to meet all the students.  At our 8:40 entry bell, staff will organize students by grade and then by class before entering the building (weather permitting).

Families of JKs have been notified of their visit time for Tuesday, September 3.

JKs and SKs begin school Wednesday, September 4 (SKs should not come to school Tuesday, September 3).

Registrations

The office will be open for registrations daily this week 8:30-1:30. Please call the school office if you have any questions (905-573-3505).

Communication

We encourage all families to “subscribe” to our school website (www.hwdsb.on.ca/BillyGreen).  By subscribing, you will receive notifications directly to your email inbox when new items are posted. The school website will be the main method of school-wide communication from the office.  Additionally, we’re on Twitter (@BillyGreenHWDSB).
