School Administration Changes

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Students,

This month marks a time of change for the administration of Billy Green School. Last Friday we welcomed our new full time Vice Principal Mrs. Leanne Tovey who has joined us from Flamborough Centre School.

I wish to announce that after 2 ½ years as the principal of Billy Green that I will be moving to Tapleytown School on February 25th. I am thankful for the positive connections that I have made with students, parents and especially the great staff at Billy Green. I congratulate and welcome Billy Green’s new principal Ms. Meagan Wilson. Change is often difficult but I am looking forward to the new experiences and professional learning opportunities I will have in my new school.

Ms. Wilson is an experienced administrator who is currently serving as Principal at Balaclava School. I know that the experience Ms. Wilson brings will benefit our students, staff and families and her leadership will ensure a positive school community for everyone at Billy Green.

I look forward to working with staff, students and the community for the next 3 weeks until February 22 and I am committed to collaborating with Ms. Wilson and Mrs. Tovey to ensure the leadership transition is smooth with minimal disruption to student learning and well-being.
