the Great Big Crunch, an annual event started by FoodShare Toronto in 2008, is a national movement in which students, teachers, parents, and anyone else passionate about food, crunch into apples (or any crunchy fruit/vegetable) together in support of a universal school food program. Billy Green will be hosting our Great Big Crunch on March 26th with apple donations being provided through Tastebuds Hamilton. Tastebuds provides student nutrition and snack programs to over 23000 students across Hamilton including Billy Green School.
