Bennetto School is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight school located in the North End of Hamilton. Bennetto provides quality education to five hundred students.
The “ New Bennetto” School is a combination of Centennial School ( JK-5), Bennetto Middle School ( Gr. 6-8) and Robert Land School ( JK-5). All three schools amalgamated between 2002 and 2004. Our present school population is supported by 26 classroom teachers, 2.5 Learning Resource Teachers, 1.0 Teacher Librarian, 2.0 Physical Education Teachers, 2.0 French Teachers, 1.0 English as a Second Language Teacher.
We also have 16 Educational Assistants who support teachers in the delivery of program and students who have special needs. Bennetto School has one system special education classes that service the needs of system students. We provide a full range of programs and activities to meet the needs of our students.
EQAO Results
These assessments capture performance at a specific point of time each year. The results should be considered together with other school information about student performance in reading, writing and mathematics.
