Terry Fox Run 2025
Dear Families,
On Thursday, September 25th Ancaster Meadow students will be participating in our annual Terry Fox Celebration Run. Students will walk, jog or run around the perimeter of the back field to music celebrating 44 years since Terry’s Marathon of Hope. This is happening during the middle block (11:35pm to 1:15pm) and parents are welcome to watch on the back field.
With parent permission, students are encouraged to collect pledges. Over the last 19 years, the students at Ancaster Meadow have shown perseverance and dedication just like Terry proudly raising just over $80 000.00 to support the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research. Our fundraising goal this year is $4 500.00. Though students are encouraged to collect pledges, they will participate in our run whether they collect funds or not.
Students can collect pledges and bring them to their teacher with cash or cheques made out to the Terry Fox Foundation: donations are due Thursday September 25th. Or they can donate via our school through the Terry Fox Foundation website at:
