Terry Fox 2024
Dear Families,
On Monday, September 16th Ancaster Meadow students will be participating in our annual Terry Fox Celebration Run. Students will walk, jog or run around the perimeter of the back field to music celebrating 44 years since Terry’s Marathon of Hope. This is happening during the last block (1:55pm to 3:25pm) and parents are welcome to watch on the back field.
With parent permission, students are encouraged to collect pledges. Over the last 18 years, the students at Ancaster Meadow have shown perseverance and dedication just like Terry proudly raising just over $80 000.00 to support the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research. Our fundraising goal this year is $2 500.00. Though students are encouraged to collect pledges, they will participate in our run whether they collect funds or not.
Donations are due by September 23, 2024 online or at the school.
Students can collect pledges and bring them to their teacher with cash or cheques made out to the Terry Fox Foundation: donations are due Monday September 23rd. Or they can donate via our school through the Terry Fox Foundation website at:
