Community Request RE: Parking Lot

Ancaster Meadow is seeking your help.  

There has been a significant increase in the number of cars entering the school parking lot for morning drop-off. Unfortunately, the level of safety for children has been impacted. 

We must enforce access by permission only during the Parking Lot Closed times of 9:00 am – 9:20 am.  

1. School Bus entry is priority 

1. Families who require drop-off at the main doors require permission and must have the ANCASTER MEADOW PARKING PASS displayed on the dashboard of their vehicle.  

You will notice us monitoring the parking lot entrance. We will greet you with kindness and remind of our process as needed. We appreciate your cooperation, and your partnership in keeping our children (and staff and community) safe. 

We recognize that there is no easy solution for vehicles stopping on Kitty Murray, Springfield Blvd, Bridgeport Cres, or even Thoroughbred Blvd. between 9:00 am and 9:15 am. These areas are highly congested, and we ask for your attention to the safety of our community, and respect for our neighbours. 

As a school, we can only encourage all drivers to adhere to the city signs on the streets, and to drive according to rules of the road.
