Parents & Guardians of Ancaster Meadow Elementary:

We at the school share everyone’s shock and dismay at the death of Jude Strickland, an HWDSB student at Templemead.

What is most shocking is that it was entirely preventable. We all have a responsibility to ensure the safety of our children, which is why we routinely try to remind parents & guardians of the need to follow traffic laws and rules in and around our school. The inconvenience of parking legally further from the school and the time saved from a rolling stop rather than a complete stop are insignificant compared to the consequences of an accident.

For our students, we at Ancaster Meadow ask that you always drive and park safely and legally to ensure student safety.
