Principal Update – April 26

Hello,

It is another full week at Ancaster Meadow with a lot of different activities going on both in and outside the classroom. It has been nice to have some nice weather for outdoor DPA time.

Next week we have a swim meet, dental screening from Public Health, an Indigenous Art workshop, water polo, and Choir fest. It is great to have such a variety of different activities for students.

Thank you to all our families as we work with you on moving to the new Safe Arrivals online platform for attendance reporting. If you are encountering difficulties please speak to our office staff. As we move forward, this is the platform for families to report student absences in all HWDSB schools. The Home & School Association is also running a Seeds and Bulbs fundraiser to get everyone in the Spring spirit. Information packages were sent home with students and order information is available on School Cash online. Our Home & School Association also runs a Facebook page, check out https://www.facebook.com/AncasterMeadowHomeandSchool/ for more details. This page is maintain by the Home & School Association and not the school. There is also running a rain barrel fundraiser.
