Principal Update Sept 20

Hello,

Just a reminder to parents that there is no school for students tomorrow (Fri Sept 21) as it is a PA Day. Tomorrow staff will be working on setting instructional goals for our annual plan, training for a new report card program, and some required Health & Safety sessions. While students have no school, staff will be busy at work.

Upcoming dates include:

Wed Sept 26 – reschedule Girls 3-pitch

Wed Sept 26 – Photo day (retakes Oct 25)

Fri Sept 28 – Terry Fox run

Fri Sept 28 – Orange Shirt Day recognizing Residential School survivors

Thurs Oct 4 (5-7pm) – Meet the Teacher night

Meet the Teacher is a wonderful opportunity to tour the school, visit classrooms and meet our staff. Our Home & School Association will be organizing some food for families. Harvey’s will be providing a BBQ . I hope to see a number of families there.
