Cootes Paradise Home & School Passive Fundraising

With the holiday shopping season upon us, please consider shopping with the following programs or businesses. Cootes Paradise Home & School Association receives a small percentage of your total purchases to put towards programs such as outdoor play equipment, theatre and visual art programs and class trips. Details on how each program works is below. The best part, it doesn’t cost you a thing!

Click “Join a Team” and search for Cootes Paradise. Once you’ve joined, you can do your online shopping through FlipGive at any number of online retailers such as Old Navy, Indigo, Groupon and Well.ca and then a percentage (usually 1-5%) will go back to Home & School. Be sure to sign up for automatic reminders when you’re doing your shopping so that you don’t need to go through FlipGive for Home & School to get the rebate.

Click on “Support a Fundraiser” in the top right corner, then click on “Select Your School or Organization”. Scroll down until you find Cootes Paradise Home and School Association. Whether you need to label your kids’ clothes or your kitchen canisters, Mabel’s Labels has all of your needs covered. Our labels are perfect for school, camp, daycare, and home.

Just put your receipt in the box labelled Cootes Paradise Home & School on your way out and Boston Pizza donates 10% of your total bill (without alcohol and before tax) to the school.

Grow for the Green Reward Program

When paying for your purchases, just ask the cashier to put your rewards towards Grow for the Green at Cootes Paradise Elementary School, phone # 905-522-0601. If parents wish to transfer points from their personal accounts, go to the Courtesy Desk to ask to have this done.

Fortinos – 1579 Main St. W, Hamilton, ON

Keep your grocery receipts (Main St. W location only). Put your receipts in the envelope in the school’s front entrance across from the office or send them to school with your child. The school receives 1% of the total bill to put towards the school’s Healthy Snack Program.
