Thank you to School Council and the AMC Community

On behalf of the AMC staff and students we thank you for supporting student learning through funds raised this year. This Fall School Council Funds have already supported AMC student learning in a variety of ways including:

Access and Transportation to events including:

• Track and Field @ Christie Conservation Area
• Gr 4/5 trip to Pinocchio (French and English performance)
• Swim Team practices and to the HWDSB meet at McMaster university
• Primary and Junior choir visit to Juravinski Hospital

Supplemental Materials to support student learning:

• Sensory Items for the “Chill Zone” – matching Grant from the Hamilton Foundation
• Speaker / Amp for presentations in the gym
• Individual teacher classroom items

Ensuring Students are Ready to Learn and Active Community Members:

• Supporting the school snack bin program
• Assisting with volunteers for pizza days
• Community Sing-A-Long and Bake Sale (funds supporting Erich’s Cupboard)

We are looking forward to future events such as:

• Gr 1 Scientists in the School (in school field trip)
• Gr 4/5 Chef a L’ecole (in school field trip)
