This family-oriented workshop is centred on fostering a caring and supportive community at Winona. Professor Ezadirad will share valuable strategies and insights that can be applied at home, school and the broader community. This evening will be meaningful for Parents/Guardians who attend on their own, as well as those who attend with their school-age children. The workshop is free. For planning purposes, we ask families to register if they plan to attend. https://forms.office.com/r/1YvaY2jBjb
School Council – Our next School Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday April 2 at 6:30 pm. To support our families competing demands, this meeting will be virtual through MS Teams. Please join using the link shared above. All are welcome.
Volunteering at Winona – With sports, excursions, and activities starting up, caregivers are reminded that if you are interested in volunteering in any capacity you must complete a Vulnerable Sector Scan (VS). This screening is easy to complete and can be obtained either by applying online. Although HPS indicates a 30 day turnaround, we have experienced that turnaround times are generally less. Once complete, your VSS does not need to be renewed for 3 years. Bring your original VSS into the school office for verification and complete a volunteer package. https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/hamilton/
