Library Donations – As part of our ongoing effort to keep our school library collection strong and accessible for all students, we are opening a year round School Cash Online item dedicated to helping replace lost or damaged library books. If your child has misplaced or accidentally damaged a book borrowed from the school library, you can now make the replacement contribution directly through School Cash Online at any time throughout the year.
Families who wish to make a general donation to support the library are also welcome to contribute through this same School Cash Online item at any time. Your support helps ensure that all students continue to have access to a full and current selection of books. Thank you for helping us maintain our library as a welcoming place for curiosity, reading, and learning.
Human Development – HWDSB has informed elementary families that learning on Strand D: Growth and Development and Sexual Health will occur between March 23 to May 1, 2026. For families interested in reviewing the curriculum expectations for each grade, please visit the following link https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/elementary/programs/human-development/and select the “Elementary Curriculum Expectations” tab.
An exemption form needs to be completed if families want students exempted from this learning. The form is now available and can be accessed through the Parent Portal. It can be found in the ‘Forms’ section and is titled “Human Development and Sexual Health Exemption.” Paper copies, email or phone calls to schools will also be accepted if the Parent Portal is not an option.
