May School Council – Our final formal School Council meeting will take place this Thursday at 6:30 pm in the library. A reminder that all are welcome to attend regardless of previous attendance.
End of Year BBQ and Celebration – Winona School Council is excited to once again host our end-of-year BBQ and celebration on June 17th! This year, we are adding even more fun for families, including a variety of games for students. To make the games extra special, we are collecting small prize donations for our treasure chest—because one person’s clutter is another’s treasure. If you have a drawer full of trinkets like fidget toys, bracelets, pencils, Happy Meal toys, or other small items, we would love to repurpose them as game prizes. A collection box will be available in the office for donations.
Grade 8’s will have the opportunity to join the celebration when they return from their end of year excursion. Be sure to mark your calendars.
Spirit Wear – May 30th will be our cut off date for families wanting to order Winona Spirit Wear for school delivery. The Spirit Wear website will remain open, but home delivery will be required after the May 30th deadline. https://www.myschoolgear.ca/store/winonaelementary
