Open House & Student Showcase –  We are excited to invite Winona families to our Open House & Spring Showcase event.  This is an opportunity to visit Winona and for our students to showcase their work.  The Open House will include the School Council Pizza Booth (pre-sale whole take home pizza, or by the slice while supplies last), Student Work, Club & Team Expo, Face Painting, Prizes, a Scholastic Book Fair and more.  Looking forward to seeing everyone on May 8!

Jump Rope for Heart – Winona students will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart in support of Heart and Stroke research.  Our event date is Friday, May 9th. Please send your child to school with clothing and footwear for an activity. Use the following link for more information and the Winona donation site. Exciting Community News from The City of Hamilton – Community recreation centres in the following three communities have been funded to begin the concept design process.

  • Waterdown
  • Glanbrook
  • Fruitland-Winona

The city is actively seeking feedback throughout the design and development process to ensure that new recreation facility investments align with community expectations and priorities.
