Healthy School Certification
Congratulations to Winona for achieving the Gold Healthy Schools Certification!
Over the past year, our school has been dedicated to promoting health and well-being in three key areas: Mental Health, Physical Activity, and Healthy Eating. With the support of our staff, students, and families, we’ve successfully implemented several initiatives throughout the school year such as Recess Guardians, a Snack Program, Move-a-thon, the Mental Health and Well-Being Committee and Student Lead Special Days. These events have reinforced healthy habits and encouraged everyone to prioritize their physical and mental health. Let’s keep up the great work, Winona!
