Congratulations on Your Retirements from Winona

It is with mixed feelings that we share the news that we have a few teachers who are retiring from Winona this year.  Mrs. Joeline Hilbert, Mr. Paul Menicanin and Mr. Warren Collins will be retiring from teaching in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board at the end of June.

All three of these individuals are long-serving and well-respected teachers who have been an important part of the Winona Elementary School community for many years.  They have all had distinguished careers touching the lives of literally thousands of students.  They have worked diligently to move students forward in their learning and in their lives.  Their commitment to the students under their care and their creativity and passion for education has been an example to many others in education.  They all have worked tirelessly to “do what is best for kids.”

We appreciate their professional work and their genuine connection to the students and the community.  We wish each one of them the very best as they enter this new chapter of life.  Please take time to thank Mrs. Hilbert, Mr. Menicanin and Mr. Collins for all they have done and wish them all the best as they retire from education this week.  Congratulations to each one of them.
