National Day for Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day

Hello Westwood Families,

Saturday, September 30, 2023, is Orange Shirt Day, which is also known as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  We encourage HWDSB students and staff to wear orange to school and work on Friday, September 29 to honour survivors of Residential Schools and to center the importance of intergenerational healing and wellness. For students and staff who do not have an orange shirt, and wish to participate, the school will be providing an Orange Shirt Day sticker.
