A Few Reminders….

Hello Westwood Community,

We just wanted to provide a few updates.

Pizza Day – Student Absences

As you know, Pizza Day takes place every Tuesday.  Money is brought in the week prior to secure a slice of pizza for the following Tuesday.  Unfortunately, when students are away on a pizza day, that order has already been placed the Friday before.  Since we always place the order a week before, refunds are not provided.  We do put the slice of pizza in the fridge at our school and keep it on hand for 2 days.  After the 2 days, the pizza is then thrown out in the garbage.  If your child is away on a pizza day due to an illness, it is your child’s responsibility to let their teacher know that the pizza is in the fridge.  You can also communicate this via your child’s school agenda.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the main office.

Chef a l’ecole

A reminder to families in Mrs Baric, Mrs Pejcic, Mrs Dunford, Mrs Kiers and Mrs Ruknesas classes that the permission forms for Chef a l’ecole are due on Tuesday, November 22. For insurance purposes, the chef needs the allergy form. Students will not be permitted to participate if their form is not submitted to Mme Schmitz by Tuesday November 22. Permission and allergy forms went out on Thursday, November 3rd, there are extra copies at the office if needed.

Photo Retake Day

As you know, photo day took place on Monday, November 14th.  We are currently working with the photographer to establish a retake day so anyone that missed their photo on the 14th can have it taken at that time.  As soon as a date has been confirmed, we will post on our website.
