Westwood / Westview Open House Tomorrow!

Hello Westwood Community,

This is a friendly reminder that our Westwood Open House will be held tomorrow (Thursday, October 20th) between 5:00pm and 6:30pm.  Classrooms will be open for your child(ren) to show and share their learning spaces with you.  If you pre-ordered a pizza, the pizza will be available to pick just outside of the gym.  Tables and chairs are set up in the gym for you to use with your family.  Due to limited seating, seating in the gym is on a first come, first serve basis.  Pizza will not be sold tomorrow and will only be given to families that pre-ordered.  Beverages will be available for sale to all families; however, priority will be given to those that pre-ordered a pizza.  Any proceeds raised from the sale of pizza or beverages will be going towards supporting the purchase of new technology for our Westwood students.

We kindly ask that children are supervised by an adult at all times and should remain with an adult during your visit to the Open House.  Thank you for keeping everyone safe.

Storytime Trail

As you may recall from a previous communication, Westview Middle School is also having their Open House tomorrow during the same hours.  We invite all families to walk to Westview to take a look around the school, this will be particularly helpful for our students in Grade 3-5 as they will be transitioning to Westview in a few years time.  To help you get to Westview, our Reading Specialist, Mrs. Groves, will be setting up a Storytime Trail for you to read and discover as you walk to Westview.  We hope you enjoy the story we have picked!
