Westwood March Updates

Hello Westwood!

Welcome to the month of March.  Here are a few updates to keep you in the loop!

DROP OFF AND PICK UP

This is a friendly reminder that students are to be dropped off in the morning between 8:30am and 8:45am and picked up between 3:05 and 3:20pm.

The exterior doors of the school are locked after 8:45am and there is no supervision outside after this time.  To avoid any problems, if you are dropping your child off to school closer to 8:45am or afterwards, please drop your child off at the main entrance of the school to avoid your child waiting outdoors by themselves.

*Please note that families must not park in the bus drop off area located outside of the office.  This area is reserved for our smaller school buses.  Thank you for your support. 

COZY AND COMFORTABLE DAY!

In light of March Break, Friday, March 11th will be COZY AND COMFORTABLE Day.  Students are encouraged to come to school wearing their favourite cozy/comfortable clothing.

THE GREAT BIG CRUNCH

The Great Big Crunch is coming! On March 10, at 1:05 p.m., Westwood is taking a #GreatBigCrunch to make some noise for healthy school food! Apples will be provided thanks to Tastebuds, Lococos, and MZ foods! Looking forward to crunching with you!

MARCH BREAK 

A reminder that there is no school between March 14th-18th due to March Break.  We will see all students back in the building on Monday, March 21st, 2022.

DAILY SCREENER

Thank you for continuing to complete the daily screener with your children.  If you are in need of a new screening calendar for March, please contact the main office.
