Thank you for your continued support as we work together to serve your child(ren). Please find below some school news for the upcoming weeks.
EQAO for grades 3 and 6 students
The EQAO assessments for the 2024-2025 school year will be administered as follows:
Grade 3 on May 26-29 and
Grade 6 on June 2-5.
More information will be available from your child’s teacher to families with students in grades 3 and 6 closer to the scheduled dates above.
EQAO will be offering the following webinars:
EQAO Webinar for Parents and Guardians of Elementary School Students
Register for this free live webinar and learn about EQAO’s primary and junior Assessments of Reading, Writing and Mathematics. Participants will learn about the purpose of Ontario’s large-scale assessments. EQAO staff will explain the assessment format, highlight resources to support students, and answer questions from participants. The session will be approximately 45 minutes, on April 10 at 6pm or April 15 at 12pm followed by a live Q&A with EQAO staff.

EQAO Math Night for Parents and Guardians
Join us for a free live webinar where EQAO staff will discuss math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in Ontario’s large-scale assessments. These assessments are taken by all Ontario students in Grades 3, 6 and 9. During the webinar, EQAO staff will show how these math questions help assess the skills students are learning in their math classes. Staff will also share valuable insights from the past three years of assessment results, which can help parents and guardians support their children’s math learning. Sessions will take place on April 29 at 12pm or June 3 at 12pm

Holiday School Closure
The school will be closed for the following holidays:
Good Friday- Friday April 18th
Easter Monday- Monday April 21st
Victoria Day- Monday May 19th
School Council
Our next school council meeting will be held on Tuesday April 15th from 6:30-7:30pm, all families are welcome to attend. The final school council meeting for 2024-2025 will be held on Tuesday May 20th from 6:30-7:30pm. Welcome to Kindergarten
On May 13, Tiffany Hills will be hosting our Welcome to Kindergarten event. If you have already registered your child, you will be contacted closer to the date with more information.
Spring Fling-Save the Date
Our annual Spring Fling event will take place on May 15, more information will be available in the next few weeks. To ensure that this event is a success, we are looking for volunteers, sponsors and vendors. For more information, or if you have any questions please email our School Council at [email protected]
Vaccine Clinic
The second vaccine clinic for students in grade 7 will take place on Wednesday May 28.
PA Day
There will be a PA Day on June 6, there will be no school for students.
Commencement- Save the Date
Our Grade 8 Commencement ceremony will take place on June 23.
Volunteers
Volunteers are important to our Tiffany Hills school community. There are several opportunities for volunteers to participate in at the school such as pizza day, field trips, reading buddies and more. We welcome volunteers all through the year.
