Dear Tiffany Hills families,
We thank you for your continued partnership with us to serve your child(ren). As we start the 2026 calendar year, we have listed some school news up to the March Break.
Health and Peer Relations Study (HPRS)- School Climate Data Grades 4-8
On Feb 9th, 2026, the Health and Peer Relations Study (HPRS) will open for all students in grades 4 to 12. It will be open for 5 weeks. The University of Ottawa team will provide school data back to us so that we can use it for school improvement planning this school year.
You would have received information and consent letters during the week of January 19th (last week) providing an opportunity for you to opt out your child(ren) via an online form or by calling the school office. The opt-out form closes on February 2nd.

Kindergarten Registration
Registration begins on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, for the 2026-27 school year. For more information and to register please visit https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/kindergarten/
If you are registering your child(ren) for kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year and Special Education Services are required, on January 27, 2026 there will be a Virtual Parent Information Night meeting at 6:30pm. Please view the flyer on the website above for more information.
Parking Lot Safety
Please do not stop or park in any “Fire Access Routes”, for the safety of all, they must always be clear for emergency vehicles.
Report Cards
On Friday February 13th, Term One report cards will be sent home.
Family Day
The school will be closed on Monday February 16th for the Family Day holiday.
Spring Fling 2026
We are planning once more for our annual Spring Fling event on May 21, 2026. To ensure that this event is a success, we are looking for volunteers, sponsors and vendors. For more information, or if you have any questions please email our School Council at [email protected]
School Council
Our next school council meeting will be held on Tuesday February 10th from 6:30-7:30pm, all families are welcome to attend. Please also access past minutes on our school website at https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/tiffanyhills/school-council/
PA Day
Our next Professional Activity Day is scheduled for Friday March 6th, there will no school for students.
March Break
The week of March 16th to 20th is March Break. The first day back for students will be Monday March 23rd.
EarlyON
EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer free, high-quality programs for families and children from birth to 6 years old. You can learn and play with your child, meet people and get advice from early childhood professionals.
