On behalf of the Holiday Hamper Committee – Social Work Services, and Tiffany we would like to extend huge gratitude to all who supported our hampers this year.
The families at Tiffany Hills were so generous to those in need.
Social Work was able to support 32 families at 21 schools! The HWDSB families who were supported ranged in size from teens living on their own to a family of 9.
The joy, gratitude and relief expressed by the hamper recipients has been so amazing.. In total, 96.5 (one on the way – a future HWDSB student!) students will receive gifts and their caregivers will be able to purchase groceries due to your generosity. These students and their families truly feel cared for by our board and school communities. We know that this year, with the rising cost of living, it is challenging for everyone. Your many kindnesses have far-reaching effects.
We want to express our appreciation and thankfulness to you on behalf of the hamper and gift card recipients. May you have some joyous and restful times with your loved ones over the winter break.
