Winter Snow Clearing and Outdoor Play

Dear Families, 

The snow has arrived in Ancaster.

The HWDSB Policy on snow removal and outdoor temperatures is attached.

Please remind your children to wear hats, mittens/gloves, boots, scarves and winter coats to school as they will continue to ensure outdoor play throughout the day. 

We encourage students to play in the snow, but for safety reasons must leave the snow on the ground at all times (no throwing or kicking the snow at others, etc.)

Also, please drive slowly and carefully when picking up and dropping off your children, it does get slippery and visibility may also be a factor at times.
