November Update

Dear Tiffany Hills Families,

As we begin to prepare for a change in season and daylight savings, our hope is that families enjoyed the end of October with the Halloween weekend.  It was great to see students dressed in costumes enjoying their first special event day this year!

Our extracurricular activities are alive at Tiffany Hills with our Senior and Junior volleyball season underway.  Our student-athletes are practicing and enjoying their season with only student-athletes & coaches able to be present for games given COVID safety restrictions.  We thank you for your understanding.

Our next school council meeting will be held  Wed. Nov. 24th at 6:30 p.m. via MS teams. All families are welcome. An email with a link to join will be shared with all families a few days prior to the meeting. Please keep an eye out for it.

Council is excited to share our upcoming fundraiser that has been communicated to families via a flyer that was sent home from your child’s teacher either electronically or paper form. Our school fundraiser will be done virtually through school cash online with safety protocols put in place for receiving ordered items.  Information can also be found on our website.

We are looking forward to Tiffany Hills’ photo day that is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9th.  Please mark your calendars!

Student progress reports are being prepared for our students and families, with reports being sent home on Friday, November 19th.  Please review your child’s progress report and identify strengths and next steps for goal setting moving forward. Complete the bottom section and return it to your child’s teacher, should you wish to discuss your child’s progress please check the appropriate box.

With the colder weather approaching and a change in season, please ensure your child is dressed for the weather. We encourage all children to enjoy an outdoor recess most days. Also, please remind your child if there are lost & found items to claim they are welcome to do visit our lost & found bin on our main floor. For children in younger grades, please connect with your child’s teacher if there are lost items to be claimed for your child.

We hope our families have an enjoyable month of November, with our continued goal of supporting our student’s safety, academic achievements & well-being.

Don’t forget to change your clocks back an hour this Sunday morning and enjoy the extra hour at home with your children this weekend.

Sincerely,

Jenny Seto-Vanderlip, Principal

Stefan Strecker, Vice Principal
