Updates from Tiffany Hills February 8, 2019

We were so glad to see everyone back at school today after an unusual double “Snow Day” this week.  We remained inside at breaks today, despite decent temperatures, because the back playground still had a great deal of ice on  it and was not safe for our student population to be outside all at once.  I will continue to assess the condition and suitability of the playgrounds each day and will make a decision that ensures our students are as safe as possible.

Last chance to order Krispee Cream donuts!  Any families wishing to order a dozen donuts should have orders and money in by Monday February 11, 2019!  Delivery will be February 27th 3:20-5:00 at the school.  Thank you to School Council for this yummy initiative which will help raise money for classroom library books and other school initiatives.  Here is the order form:  Krispy Kreme Donut Sales Presentation1

Valentines’ Activities are underway and there is much kindness in the air at Tiffany Hills!  Many students have purchased candy-grams for friends and are busy filling out Valentine Card for their classmates.  Our Valentines’ dance for grades 6-8 will be on Thursday February 14th.  If your child’s teacher will be holding a class party, please ensure that all food treats are store-bought, with ingredients listed and are nut-free.  Thank you for helping to keep all of our students healthy and safe.  Thank you to our Students’ Council and staff for organizing the festivities for us!

Term 1 Report Cards will be sent home on Tuesday February 12th at the end of the school day.  Congratulations to all students for their hard work and improvements since the November Progress Report!

Family Day is Monday February 18th.  Schools are closed on this day.  Enjoy!
