Bully Awareness and Prevention Week

From November 18-22, 2024, HWDSB will join school boards and community partners across Ontario to recognize Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. We are dedicated to cultivating caring, safe, and inclusive schools where every student experiences a strong sense of belonging and well-being. At HWDSB, we celebrate diversity, identity, and lived experiences, using these values to enrich learning and foster respectful learning and working environments.  Every day, we encourage every student to be an upstander when they witness bullying. HWDSB Helps service offers a free, anonymous reporting tool to assist students who need help or are unsure of how to respond. This resource allows students and families to report concerns related to bullying, mental health, substance use, and more, in accordance with existing Board and school protocols.
