Today’s Music Monday Celebration!

Rousseau students and staff participated in their very first whole-school assembly since early 2020! Students were buzzing with excitement, as they came to share Music with fellow students through song! Music Monday is a National from the Canadian Coalitions for Music Education https://coalitioncanada.ca/en/events/music-monday-2022/– an event across Turtle Island and Canada where students learn a song to perform together (this year’s song is “Music Is Our Medicine”). At Rousseau, we have been celebrating for many years and on Music Monday it is an opportunity for us to showcase the wonderful music education happening in our classrooms every day, as well as songs performed by our extra-curricular choirs.
