HWDSB requires all volunteers to show a completed Vulnerable Sector Screening every three years and an Offence Declaration every year. For more information on:

If you are interested in Volunteering (ie. class trips, coaching a school team, general classroom support, other), please complete the following steps:
- Apply online for a Vulnerable Sector Screen for Volunteers with The Hamilton Police Service ($25.00) – https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/how-to/get-background-check
- Complete the following Volunteer Package
- Volunteer Information Sheet
- School / Volunteer Agreement
- Offence Declaration Form
Submit all forms (including a copy of the Vulnerable Sector Screen) to the office.
