Year End Procedures

Thanks to everyone for their patience and support this year. Please see information below about year end procedures:

IPad and School Resources Return and Student Item pickup

From 1:00PM – 3:30PM on June 28 and from 9:00AM- 3:30PM on Tuesday June 29, families are asked to please return any iPads that have been borrowed either from Rousseau or to iPads that have been lent to students who have been learning in Remote School this year. During these times families can also stop by the school to pickup any leftover student items. During the morning of June 28, student items will be bagged by staff and then placed for the afternoon on tables organized by Last Name outside the front of the school. Please continue to follow physical distancing and mask protocols when visiting the school. Students and families will not be able to access the school at this time. HWDSB has indicated that Lost and Found cannot be on display at this time. Please visit the HWDSB website for more details.

Report Cards and Kindergarten Communications of Learning

On Monday June 28, Kindergarten Communications of Learning and Grade 1-6 report cards will be distributed by email. Please visit the HWDSB Report Card Post for details on accessing these documents.

Student Class Placement for 2021/2022

Within the Communication of Learning and Report Card will be information about your child’s placement for the 2021/2022 school year. We believe in our students’ ability to grow, change and rise to new challenges while receiving support from school and home. You might recall that last month, there was a post on our school website that invited families to share information for the school to consider as we created classes. At this time, our classes are set and we cannot consider making changes until the end of September. Thank you for your understanding.

Please expect a final post prior to the end of the month. Thank you once again for your support as we  work together for a successful conclusion to the school year and prepare the foundation for a successful 2021/2022. Take care.
