Winter Break Food Drive 2021

We are holding a food drive to support local foodbanks.  Please consider helping out if you are able to.

Where our food donations are going: Hamilton Food Share

Why: “Over 13,000 people in Hamilton, including 5,000 children need a food bank every month. Due to the evolving situation with respect to the COVID-19 outbreak, we anticipate that food bank usage in Hamilton will rise sharply at the same time as the system will be greatly challenged to bring in donations due to cancelled community events” (Hamilton Food Share).

When: Tuesday Dec 7- Thursday Dec 16

Food Donation Requests: 

– canned proteins (tuna, chicken etc)

– canned fruits and veggies (beans, apple sauce, peaches etc)

– canned pasta sauce and pasta noodles

– shelf stable milk and alternatives (almond/soy milk)

– lunch box items (juice boxes,granola bars, crackers)

– spices (salt,pepper,rosemary etc)

– cooking oil

– baby formula
