Week Of June 10 -June 14, 2019

Ridgemount Families,

As we approach the end of the school year please come by and check our lost and found as there are several items looking for their owners. Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity at the end of this week. Please also be sure to dress and prepare for the warmer weather (apply sunscreen, wear hats, have a water bottle, wear cooler clothing).

Also a reminded of the Spring Concert this Tuesday, June 11 from 9:30-10:30 am in the gymnasium. Please join us as we celebrate the efforts of our amazing school music program. A special thanks to Ms. Filipovic for all of her support and planning with this. Thank you also to Ms. Clarke and Mme. Gagnon for all of the work that they have contributed to making our students and this department so successful!

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, the Ridgemount Junior and Senior Band participated and performed in the Festival of Music at Canada’s Wonderland. They played very well and the adjudicator was impressed with their beautiful ensemble sound and accurate rhythms. We had a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and fun! Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Harding for volunteering and supplying us with a vehicle to store the instruments and bagged lunches. Thank you to Ms. Privado, Ms. Nerbonne, Ms. Mateus, Ms. Kelly and Mr. Harb for volunteering and spending the day with us. It was so appreciated!
