Hello Ridgemount Famiies:

A reminder that Ridgemount Water Bottles are still on sale for $5.00 each. Please contribute to our Eco Friendly initiative by purchasing one to help save our planet.

Be sure to hydrate,  apply sunscreen for protection and stay cool. Student recesses and physical activity will be adjusted accordingly. Schools are advised from the HWDSB when weather alerts are in place and will  limit recess times, keep students indoors and closely monitor those students that require cooling down.

As the year winds down there will be a number of events, field trips, forms going home and information regarding school events. Please be sure to check student agendas, backpacks and remind students to share important forms with you daily so that they do not miss important deadlines.

Parents and guardians, please have a conversation with your child or children about our Ridgemount Road to Success Expectations and our new focus of Independent Work . What do these look like? How can we accomplish these goals? How do these goals show Independent Work which is the focus for the next few weeks and June’s assembly.

Ridgemount Road To Success Expectations:

  1. Always keep your hands and feet to yourself
  2. Be where you’re supposed to be
  3. Treat others how you want to be treated
  4. Calm and quiet movement in the hall
  5. Listen to and follow instruction from all adults in the school

Independent Work Is:

  • I will listen and follow instructions.
  • I will use my quiet voice to let others work without distractions.
  • I will always try my best.
