November 27 PA Day – Interviews

Dear Riddell Family,

Friday, November 27 is a designated Professional Activity Day for all HWDSB schools. Riddell staff will be participating in a half day of mandatory violence prevention training and the remaining half of the day will be used by classroom educators to communicate with parents/guardians/caregivers regarding student progress.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all meetings and communications must be done virtually using board standardized tools or by phone. In-person meetings are not permitted at this time. Due to the Ministry mandated violence prevention training, educators will have less time available on the PA Day to connect with families and will have to prioritize the time available for interviews.

Your child’s teacher will be communicating with families via their regular channels to indicate the times they are available and the process for requesting an interview.
