News and Notes – February 16th, 2024

Hello QM Families!

Between the snow, Day 100, and Valentine’s Day, it’s been a exciting week here at QM! As always there are many wonderful things to celebrate around our school from Kindergarten right through to Grade 8. February is Black History Month and it is wonderful to see students learning about the contributions and connections of our Canadian Black leaders – past and present. As a school we are committed to making sure students see themselves represented in the materials and resources we use, the lessons we teach, and the examples we share.

Upcoming Events:

February 19th – Family Day (no school)

February 22nd – Lockdown Drill (AM)

Monday is Family Day so on behalf of the Queen Mary staff family, we wish you all a safe and happy day.
