School Starts Tomorrow (grades 1-8)!!!

Hello families,

The big day is almost here. On behalf of all the staff at QM, we can’t wait to see you. All classes are back tomorrow for grades 1-8. JK students will have drop in visits tomorrow and SK students begin on Thursday.

We’ve had more than 80 new registrations this past week and we expect more tomorrow. Please bring your patience as we work together to get everyone in their morning lines before entry. We expect some challenges but when we work collaboratively to support each other, good things happen.

Please do not arrive before 8:45 AM, the school bell officially rings at 9:00 AM. If it is raining, bring an umbrella as we will be sending students directly to their classes and that could take a bit of time to get everyone in the building.

I want to thank our QM staff for all the hard work that has gone into reopening. This is a year like no other and welcoming back students is our primary goal. Our caretaking crew have prepared the facility, teachers and EAs have set up classroom spaces, and our office staff have been so helpful in registering new students and answering, what seems like, millions of phone calls :).

If there are issues that your child’s teacher needs to know, please reach out to them by phone or email. The more we know about the supports they need and how to get them engaged in learning, the better it will be for your child. Home and school are a team, we are here to work with you.

So friends, it’s officially a school night. Get to bed and have a great sleep. We will see you in the morning!
