Secure School Procedure- Entry and Dismissal

Student safety remains a top priority at Prince of Wales School. As part of our Secure Schools policy, we are reminding families of our entry procedures and appreciate your continued cooperation and support.

Our instructional day begins at 8:30 a.m., with staff supervision on the playground starting at 8:15 a.m.

• Students in Grades 1–4 line up with their classes on the north playground.
• Students in Grades 5–8 line up on the south playground.
• FDK students meet their educators in their designated spots.

If students arrive late, they must enter through the front door and check in at the office to ensure accurate attendance. For the safety of all students, we ask that parents and guardians refrain from walking through the school building. If a child requires support getting to class, a staff member will gladly assist.
