Cell Phone Policy Update

Hi Families,

We are amending our cell phone policy to state that cell phones are no longer allowed to be used during instructional times. Students are welcome to come down to the office to call home as needed. If you need to get a hold of your child during the school day, please call the office. Students will still be allowed to use their phones during nutrition breaks (10:10-10:50 and 12:30-1:10), so if there is a message that needs to be checked, they can do so at that time. We have addressed a large number of incidents lately regarding inappropriate cell phone usage, and value your partnership in helping enforce this policy. Cell phones are incredibly distracting during class time and if students need to access technology, they will have access to classroom iPads. Thank you for your cooperation.
