Renovation Update

Situational Update #1

It is the intent of admin to keep you informed on a regular basis regarding our renovations. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come and see us in the office.

• There will be a paved path from the back playground that will allow students and staff to enter and exit the school safely.
• The “rock” area will be out of bounds as the plantings and the new sod will require time to root. This may take up to 7 weeks. A fence will be erected around this area and will in place before the first day of school.
• Bus arrival and routine with students will be the same with the exception of Grade 1’s to 8 being walked through the school to the back playground as opposed to Ottawa Street alleyway.
• All students will assemble on the back grass prior to school entry. There will be a number of chairs out back with signs indicating teachers and grades. Students are to line up in the appropriate lines and wait for teacher to walk them into the building at the bell.
• All teachers, support staff and administrators will be wearing vests. If you have any questions or concerns, please approach staff and they will help you or direct you to someone who can.
• Admin will have current class lists for students and parents should the need arise.

School start up will be challenging this year but if we all work together the end result will be amazing.
