News and Notes – March 21, 2025

Hello Lake Avenue Families!

We’ve had a great first week back after March Break, it’s been fun to hear the stories of how students spent their time off. Our quick burst of Spring this week was also a nice reminder of the warmer days ahead and the promise of shedding coats soon – few more weeks to go.

We want to thank families for respecting our rules for not entering the parking lot with your cars. We know it means you have to walk a bit further at times but it keeps everyone safer. We appreciate your support.

Upcoming events:

Tuesday March 25 – 2:15 PM Parent Information Session for the Human Development and Sexual Health curriculum. Interpreters available. Come and find out what kids actually learn in this important health strand.

Tuesday – popcorn day $2.00

Thursday – pizza day $2.00 per slice (order by Wednesday)
